My name is Anica van Ameijde and I have been working as a paraveterinarian in the team at Dierenkliniek De Beestenhoek since 2019. As a child, I always loved working with animals; I cared for my cats, rabbits, hamsters and later my own horse with great attention and pleasure. Yet I did not immediately start working with animals. After first having a completely different profession, I decided it was time for a change and trained as a paraveterinarian in Barneveld. After graduating in 2016, I worked in 2 different veterinary practices before finding my niche at De Beestenhoek. The combination of working with animals and people is what I like most about this profession! No animal, human or working day is the same: how beautiful is that!

At home I live with my husband, where unfortunately we cannot keep pets, but in my spare time I like to be with the horses and I also enjoy making music, theatre and squash. Hope to greet you and your pet at The Beestenhoek soon!
