I graduated as a veterinarian from Utrecht University in 2010. After working at 2 clinics for some time, I have been working with great pleasure at Dierenkliniek De Beestenhoek since April 2022. I especially like the versatility of our work. Actually, we are both GPs for the animals during consultations, surgeons, dentists and sometimes a little psychologist. I also really enjoy working up internist patients and especially coming to the best possible treatment plan together with the animal owner. I enjoy working with our team, everyone is well-matched and ready for each other. I have a special interest in guinea pigs and rabbits, but actually all species are fun to work with.

Outside work, I prefer to go out with my husband Robert and 3 daughters Evy, Lizzy and Yara. Out into nature or to an amusement park, museum or zoo. Or watching a series on the couch with my husband. At home we currently have two very sweet cats, Nemo and Micky. Both were once patients with me and have been given a second chance with our family.
