Liesbeth

Ever since I was 5 years old, I cried out that I wanted to become a vet later.
Despite being excluded several times in Utrecht, I finally managed to fulfil my dream thanks to our southern neighbours. In 2006, I obtained my veterinary degree in Ghent. Since then, I have enjoyed working in the practice. Over the years, I have specialised in ultrasound, surgery and laparoscopy/endoscopy. But I still enjoy dealing with all aspects of veterinary medicine; it's the variety and versatility that make the work so much fun!

At home, I live with my husband, our twins Harper & Izzy and Cat Mouse. She was found by the side of the road by a passerby with severe anaemia and neurological symptoms. After months of medication and fostering at our home, she has been a very healthy cat for 8 years!
