Mirka

I am Mirka Bredero-Ondris, veterinarian and enthusiastic owner of Dierenkliniek De Beestenhoek.

My love for animals started as a small child when my elder sister took me to the petting zoo every time. From cuddling animals to curing animals. I graduated from Utrecht University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After my studies, I worked for 7 years in the United States in a first- and second-line animal hospital. There, I gained a lot of experience and there my passion for dentistry and ultrasound was developed and expanded. After returning to the Netherlands, and working for two years in Rotterdam-Zuid as a veterinarian and site manager, on 1 April 2014 my dream came true and I became practice owner of this beautiful practice. I am married and we have two children, Isabel and Tobias. Besides playing sports, basketball and tennis, I also love to enjoy nature with my family. We have a dog, Mack, and a cat, Cookie. Both animals are rescued and are cosy additions to our family.
