I have been a vet for over 30 years and it still remains a wonderful profession. The puzzle of what is going on with a patient and how to get the right information to treat and/or solve it continue to fascinate me. There are more and more veterinary possibilities (to diagnose but also to treat) and the trick is to find out together with the owners what is best for them and their animal.

I have also lived with my husband in Rotterdam for 30 years; our three children have left home. As a hobby, I enjoy diving in the Grevelingen or Oosterschelde estuaries.
