The Beestenhoek 10 years

A little celebration at Dierenkliniek De Beestenhoek. It has been 10 years since the practice was taken over from Fred Zwart.

In the 10 years there have been a lot of developments in the practice, both before and behind the scenes. The biggest first step was working by appointment. We are still very happy with this, for each patient there is then enough time and attention for the care they need.

Things did change behind the scenes. An ultrasound machine has been added, the X-ray machine has been replaced and we also take dental X-rays. In the operating theatre (both dental and sterile surgery), advanced monitoring and ventilation have been added for during your pet's anaesthesia. The operating theatre in Bergschenhoek was enriched with a laparoscopy tower in 2015, allowing us to perform laparoscopic sterilisation (called 'keyhole surgery') outside regular sterilisation. And we could go on and on.

Another big change is the new location in Bleiswijk. Whereas 10 years ago we were at the location on the 'van Waningstraat' , we now have a more spacious and more equipped practice on the 'Dorpsstraat' in Bleiswijk. Not far away from each other, but with so many more possibilities. Here, too, we have two consulting rooms, do laboratory tests and operate.

With these great changes and improvements, we will certainly continue to move forward.
